Just got pregnant? Too excited to see your little one, but at the same time nervous on how will you take care of it.
Once you realize you’re pregnant, you intend to search for what are dos and don’ts for you. Like can you eat this kind of food or you don’t have to do this stuffs. So here are some dos and don’ts for pregnant.
Dos:
Yes, you can have multi-vitamins. It will provide your body a healthy nutrients. But before buying any multi-vitamins product ask for your OB gynecologist for the best multi-vitamins for you or any prescription.
Lots of sleep. As you having a child on your womb, try to sleep a lot to relieve from stress. And because you are pregnant, you are having a hormonal changes it will help a lot for you. Try to have at least seven to nine hour of sleep.
Working-out, many pregnant are afraid to do this. Old days seems to fade, you can now do work out to lessen the stress and help you to reduce some muscle pain. Like the multi-vitamins ask your doctor for a fitness program (if it’s okay with your pregnancy or not).
Having sex. Some soon to be mom, are afraid to have sex with their husband, but it is okay to have sex. As long as it will not risk your pregnancy. Ask your doctor for your safety intercourse.
Gain weight SMARTLY. The other said “eat a lot because you have to eat for two bodies”, but your little one is in just growing. Gaining weight is okay but you should be conscious of what you eat. Eat a healthy food for you and your baby. Again, ask your doctor for on how much gain do you need?
Don’ts:
Smoking and drinking alcohol, are everybody knows as don’t for pregnant women. It has a great impact on growing human on your womb. Smoking and drinking alcohol has a greater risk in development of baby’s internal organs. So don’t as in don’t risk your future kid for just a stick cigarette or litter of alcohol.
Don’t eat raw meat or any undercooked meat. It may cause food poison or food-borne illness such as listeriosis and toxoplasmosis. Make sure that all meat even eggs are all well-cooked.
Aside from raw meat, don’t eat a deli meat or unpasteurized milk and cheese. Deli meat or processed food such as hotdogs or sausages. It can decrease your protein and it may risk you health. Unpasteurized milk or cheese are not heated to kill bacteria. Calcium are important but don’t get it from unpasteurized milk or cheese.
Don’t take lots of caffeine. Just like on dos (lot of sleep) how can you have decent sleep if you keep on drinking coffee? The caffeine can affect the baby’s heart beat to make it faster.
Don’t dye your hair. Why? Because it has some chemicals that can affect the baby. While dying your hair you can smell some chemicals from the hair coloring, it can risk your health and the baby.
These are some tips for pregnant to keep them healthy and not a nervous soon to be mom. Keep your health for yourself and for the little inside your womb.
